Dear Bettie, John & Ginger, Mary & Randy & Family,
It is indeed a loss to have Ray no longer physically with us. He most certainly remains alive in spirit in our hearts & minds. My thoughts & prayers are with all of you during a most difficult time.
I will always remember the incredible video he put together for the 50th Wedding Anniversary of my Parents! He was a man of many talents, with a large intellect & a very kind heart.

| Although Ray never worked directly for UCS, he was one of us, and working with him was a very great pleasure. I worked with Ray at a UCS customer site, 3D/International, in the early 80's. One of 3D/I's directors was the astronaut Walter Cunningham. Ray's TimeTable software was used to track the materials going into the construction of seven cities in Saudi Arabia. I was on a team that was working 24-hour shifts in order to compile and coordinate the information for a deadline shipment to Saudi Arabia each week. Ray could be called upon at any time to provide support and advice through his analysis of the critical path to get the information out on time. At this task, he was a genius. But Ray also had a very human side, a pleasant disposition, and a willingness to do what it takes to get the job done. Everyone I knew at UCS respected and admired Ray for his untiring efforts, his superior intellect, and his charming personality. He will be missed by many in the industry, and my heart goes out to his family. |

I've known Ray for more than 37 years. We first met as a result of my working at UCS, I worked with Ray to get his software product available at UCS. We worked together; he installing "Less Time" software and supporting his clients and I selling his product. We had a great working relationship. Later, I went on to work for Ray at Cincinnati Milacron. We had an excellent working relationship. Ray was smart, he understood Marketing, he was organized and above all, we had fun working together.
Through the years after Milacron, we remained friends. Occasionally, I would visit and Betty would prepare some healthy food for the both of us. (Betty was always finding ways to keep Ray healthy, organic foods long before they became fashionable, or thru exercise regiments). Ray and I on the other hand would chat solving the problems of the world, or figure some new business idea that could be successful but we'd never take the next step to implement it!
Our long winded chats about business opportunities, an occasional cigar and political discussions are the things I'll fondly miss. He was Betty's soul mate and a good man.
I will miss his emails.
Betty, please accept Olga's and my condolences.
